The Los Angeles A Course in Miracles Study Group meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 7:30 – 9 pm at the Gateway Portal. The facilitator of the meetings is Dean Arvidson. A Course in Miracles is a deeply profound, meaningful and most importantly, a very effective spiritual teaching (in the form of a book) that comes directly from Jesus. In our meetings we read from ACIM and discuss how the teaching applies to our minds and lives.
The purpose of the meetings is to assist us in connecting with God’s Holy Spirit that is within each of us. Through connecting with the truth within, we can experience the joy, peace and healing that comes as we ‘remove the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence’. It is not necessary to have read ACIM in order to attend a meeting, nor is it necessary to own a copy of the book, but please do come with a ‘little willingness’ to hear the profound message of A Course in Miracles!
Suggested contribution is $10 collected during the class. No one is turned away but we do ask for a sincere energy exchange to help keep our community center running.
