  Sio Mangisi [website] was born with a
  special gift. At the tender age of seven,
he recalls healing his injured playmates
simply by placing his hand above their
injury. 40 years later, his gift is his life
mission.

Along his journey, Sio was captivated by the work of the kahunas (native
  healers) of the South Pacific islands, and was accepted to study with
several kahunas to achieve full-fledged Hawaiian Kahuna Healer status.
They agreed to let Sio spend time with them in the high mountain caves
  of Hawaii in total silence – observing their ways for six months. He spent
  those six months without uttering a word (neither did the kahunas). He
  emphasizes that he learned in silence, and now practices his healing
ability in silence.

Not to be confused with Reiki healing, Sio's work requires minimal or no
physical contact. Rather, he projects his own energy to ignite the healing
energy within others. His modality requires no interviews, conversations
or touching although sometimes he does very light touch during in-person
sessions. This simple yet majestic work enables his clients to utilize their
own energy to heal emotional, physical, mental and spiritual issues. It
  prioritizes each healing need in precise order of urgency. As a Hawaiian
  Kahuna, Sio now heals up to 50 or more people in a room simultaneously
by synchronizing collective vibrations in the Polynesian tradition.
